Torvell & Dean's
Dancing On Ice has just annouced they are going on
tour. Hosted by Andi Peters (a former contestant who has decided
to take a slightly less hazardous role in the live format),
will be a truly interactive experience and replicate the format
and set of the TV show. Each night of the tour the competing
celebrities will perform a series of routines with their dancing
partners and the arena audiences will be able to vote for
their favourite couple via their mobile phones. The audience
votes will be added to the scores from the TV show panel of
ice judges, who will be rink-side to critique the performances
each night. Olympic gold medal winner Robin Cousins will head
the panel and be joined by Karen Barber and Jason ‘Mr
Nasty’ Gardiner. Once the votes have been counted, the
two celebrities with the highest amount of votes will join
their skating partners to perform a magical finale of Torvill
& Dean’s Olympic Gold medal winning routine of Bolero.
It can be seen in Birmingham (Mar 31 &
Apr 1), Wembley ( Apr 6 & 7), Sheffield
(Apr 11 & 12), Manchester (Apr
13 & 14), and Nottingham (Apr 17-20) |
